Zane
Has anyone seen or done a RO/DI looped system on an aquarium??? Basically where the water goes from aquarium into the RO/DI unit and then returned to aquarium
jvision
I haven't, and I think the reason is that you need a decent amount of pressure to push water thru the RO membrane, and you'll have to find a source of clean water to replace the (up to) 2/3 waisted water. ckmullin
A pressure booster can be used ~ 60-75psi needed. Just the waste water would be an issue but using an ATO you get by with that. I just don't think it's worth the trouble or time to set something like that up as your not really gaining.
