Bandi
How do I measure CO2 levels in my water?
creekbottom
That depends on how accurate you want to be. I use a drop checker with 4dKH solution in it. Keep it in the green and haven't had a problem with the livestock and the tanks seem balanced. There is a way to use pH and kH to measure how much you're actually getting in the water but I've never used that.
Frogfish
Drop checker does the trick just fine it seems reliable and semi permanent like a thermometer. I think the solution has to be changed every once in a while but the drop checker is great it gives you real time readings rather then an ammonia, nitrate etc. test. Since the topic is brought up does drop checker solution need to be changed periodically as per manufacturer recommendations?
