Frogfish
I can't seem to fit my 5 lb tank under my cabinet vertically and was wondering if it is safe to mount it horizontally. I have a baby so the tank needs to be on lock down wherever it goes.

Ron
I wouldn't do it, I used to play a lot of Paintball back when compressed air was just coming out and CO2 was the norm. I don't know if the big tanks come with anti-siphon tubes but even with them, small 20oz tanks would feed liquid Co2 and cause havoc. I would be careful as it could freeze your regulator and malfunction. Angle, I might be able to accept but not horizontal.

Correct and this forum post covers it quite well too http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/how-use-your-co2-tank-laying-down-standing-up-840504/ Short answer is, you CANNOT mount your co2 tank sideways unless its specifically designed for it. Frogfish
I didn't think so because of what happens when you put a computer cleaning air can upside down but thought I would ask anyway. Thanks for the tips.
Toirtis
Build a separate mini-cabinet for it beside your aquarium one.
