Doc_Polit
Hey Gang, I've been checking out pumps for my wet/dry, and I thought I'd gather some opinions for comparison sake. I'm not doing this as a poll because........well, frankly it's been a long day and I just don't have the ambition. -05- The three brands I am considering (I want submersible) are: Aquus Surge Rio 26HP Mag Any thoughts or recommendations? albert_dao
Mag's are dependable but hum. I can't comment on the other two.
rudy
Mags are great. Cheap and easy to repair. They are pretty much the aquaclears of pumps. Rio...I had one bun out on me and in all honesty they run really hot. The other I have no idea I have never heard of it.
canucklehead
I have a Quiet one on my DIY wet dry that has run like a top for 2 years, it's definitely not very quiet though.
ronrca
I have a number of mag pumps and not problems with them at all. Good gallon/hour for your buck. Cant go wrong with them. I order my pumps thru jlaquatics.com in BC.
