FunkSolid Posted July 16, 2015 Report Share Posted July 16, 2015 I'm curious to know what salt concentrations do you M. boesemani enthusiasts have in your tanks? I read in the Rainbowfish bible (Adrian Tappin) that they have between 0-500 mg/L in the wild. I have always added salt to my freshwater tanks believing that it assists in osmoregulation. In the past I have followed the API recommendation of 1 Tbsp per 5 Gallons which gives a really rough 130mg / L concentration, but I’m looking to snipe the water conditions for my new Aytinjos.
