Michael Roth
Absolutely. While they do ave big appetites, they are pretty meek fish. He eats plenty of krill, but the discus don't even seem to think he exists.
jvision
:o Don't you know that Discus are supposed to be kept alone - or with small peacefull species like Cardinals or Corys??? I guess, Michael and Piranah Man (see his Titus video) haven't heard about the rules of keeping thier fish!! :guns:
Michael Roth
Yeah, I had 25 cardinals in with my discus for a couple hours. the discus thanked me after they ate every last one.
Kim
jvision - What is so wrong about Piranah Man's black piranah's tank mates?
Piranha Man
My piranha is 14" and 5 lbs... he has no interest in eating tetras. That video will illustrate what he views as a meal. Now my little 4" Compressus piranha, however, would clear my tank in about a week!
piranha_guy_dan
i agree there pat. its like a human wanting to eat one french fry yet have to chase that one french fry around to catch it. not worth the effort for the small reward. i guess you have to know your piranhas before you can understand how they work pat
