Magicide
I had two of my sword plants end up with small yellow spots that rapidly spread and killed the leaf it started on with each one. Otherwise the plants were fine. I suspected my Pleco but today I found a snail in the tank and wondered if it might be to blame. I don't have a digital camera so no pictures but this website has a good image of what they look like. Snail Picture The snail in my tank had a dark reddish almost brown shell and a dark black body. The shell is the shape of the linked one. It is currently about 1/4 of a centimeter long and I've only found one but I suspect that is because the others are better hidden. jvision
They're what I refer to as pond snails, which is pretty much any snail with that shape of shell. The ones in the ponds around Edm get huge, tho! Like 4"+! If your plants aren't doing well, they will do damage; otherwise, you'll get the same results as Canadbis.
