HOSStile
Interesting, did you use your "first Pond" for the waterfall and with all the plants in it a good filter? Is the garden hose adding fresh water or being used to bring the water back up? I have my dug in pond but have entertained thoughts of a sheltered area with an above ground pond. Good Job.
mbunamama
The top small pond acts as a home for fry and smaller fish. Pic was taken early in season...the garden hose gets hid after but it runs from a circulating pump. The grey container is my filter. Its a laundry hamper with holes drilled in bottom . Its filled with filter wool/bio media(curlers) and lava rock. This year I am going to try some flax straw in filters see how that goes.
