Larry
In my cichlid tank, i am feeding them myisis shrimp and NLS. Is this a good combination or should it be just one or the other? Larry
Vallisneria
Thats a good combo. NLS can be fed as a solo food. I feed a couple of my tank only NLS. But you can add some Mysis as a treat every once and a while. What type of cichlids are they?
Nandopsis
That's exactlt what i use. 98% NLS and 2% P.E. mysis as a treat once or twice a week, and it has worked wonders.
Larry
I have 1 green terror, 4 pink convicts, 2 blue fish (was told they were called white backs), 2 purple parrots and a red tail shark. I have been feeding them both the mysis and the nls everyday. I guess i will scale back the mysis. Larry
mykiss
hhmm.... I feed my fishes frozen bloodworms, Nutrafin flakes, my home made beefheart mix, some hikari mysis, some hikari algae wafers and catfish pellets, some shrimp pellets (Wardleys and HBH), and some other flake food from Mark Weiss and that's the main part of it. I also have other foods but I don't feed them those often. Oh, and baby brine shrimp for all my babies!
