mikeyd1976
I was just wondering if you have to use PVC or if ABS can used. It doesn't really matter as I work for a plumbing wholesaler. I was just curious.

Generally this means the white pipe and not necessarily the black... although that is not always entirely true. HTH, David
Nandopsis
They say to use PVC and not ABS, but i know lots of people who use ABS and it is not a problem.*so far* Although they are only using a couple small pieces in one tank. I would go with PVC though, It's relatively the same price and you know it is safe.
Vallisneria
I use ABS in my 90g and haven't had any problems so far and its been in there for 4+years. Here is where i asked the ABS question on another board before i decided to use it. http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showt...ghlight=ABS+PVC
