wchfsu
Just curious if anyone has had any luck with sticking a dempsey in an outdoor pond? THe water temp is 68 right now but it should get up some more in the next month since it gets full sun all day. Just curious if they would last out there? canucklehead
Once it warms up a bit and as long as the water is circulated I see no reason why not, it would be interesting to see what it looks like after a couple months in the pond
jvision
That would be one heck of a meal if a heron should stop by! I know of people who've had their ponds picked clean by Blue Herons - even in the city!
wchfsu
Ok then I think I will try it when it gets a little warmer out. The pond has major circulation, 5 waterfalls and a ton of filters so they should be good on that end. We havent had a heron problem out here yet..knock on wood..and we live maybe 15 km out of the city. The tricky part is going to be catching them at the end of the season. Thanks Guys
