Larry
My convicts that put eggs on a rock wall a few days ago have taken them all and scattered them around the floor of the cave. They are still protective of them. Do you think this is normal or are these eggs just not going to hatch? Larry
Fish_Frenzy
My convicts have never moved their eggs...they often move the babies all over the place but they have their own tank. Maybe having tankmates has made them more nervous. hope this helps Tammy
jvision
Time will tell. The eggs usually hatch in about 3-4 days, then stay as wigglers for another 2-3 days. All depends on tank temp, tho. Higher temp = faster development (which isn't always good).
