Vapor
The little I found on the net seems to lean towards brackish. Very cool looking fish. Also said they are a predator.
Toirtis
Indeed...brackish, predatory, mildly venomous....thats about what there is. I guess Aquatic Imports must have got in their yearly lot of them. How much was Petland wanting for theirs? Fishbase has: http://filaman.ifm-geomar.de/Summary/speci...e=depressifrons
windeindoiel
A couple months back I really wanted one of those guys. *sigh* Now I don't have the room. They look very cool though.

fatpuffer
More questions: What is max size? What is min size tank one can be housed by itself? What level brackish...ie. light (like f8 puffers) or high (gsp)? THANKS! Js
Toirtis
9.99...I think...i know it was less than 10 dollars.Js Cool...so about $5 on Tuesdays... More questions:What is max size? According to fishbase, 10cm. What is min size tank one can be housed by itself? Not sure, but I did a couple (juveniles, obviously) in a 10 a number of years ago. What level brackish...ie. light (like f8 puffers) or high (gsp)? According to fishbase, they are found from fresh to full marine, so you decide. The ones I kept were at about 1.010 specific gravity. windeindoiel
Apparently they like to swim around a bit, and they get to be 10 inches, so a tank that can accomodate all this would probably be a good idea. If you get one (or whatever), you must post pictures of the little cutie(s)!
FishBrain
Do you think they will go with Figure 8's in the brackish tank?
fatpuffer
From the personal experiences I have read, waspfish and f8 are not compatible because the f8 is a a voracious eater and out competed the waspfish according to one account. I guess you can try it and just target feed the waspfish. Js
