I noticed that my female was the aggresor when i brought my pair home. she was very mean. I read also that she will hold her own during all the agression as it is usually the male doing the aggression. ha i also read they only have between 30-50 babies.. i did a head count when i moved mine i lost count after 200. Goodluck and hope you have babies soon.

great pictures of the rams. very nice. Is it just me or does that hrp look nice and full/round. almost like my female did just before she laid.

heres a family photo. that pile in the pot looks like dirt but if you can enlarge the picture you can actually see the babies.

never cleaned nothing. Just straight up took it out and put it in the other tank. No cleaning involved at all

No fish... Ammonia is still extremly high.. how long does it usually take. This post is supose to be in general area.. I accidently posted it here.

i had This happen twice its getting quite annoying... last night i took a Cycled filter(since august) and moved it to another tank. did a water change. there is also a uncycled filter on the tank. today the ammonia is through the rough... as high as it can go? I was under the impression that if you take a used filter.. It cycles the tank almost instantly. So what could be going wrong? it is also showing very little nitrate not nitrite.

Just an update. They are now wigglers. so cute. the parents are weirdos tho. they keep moving the eggs from one flower pot to another.. 2-3 times a day even if noone is around. lol we might remove one pot as they cant make up there minds.

is this a bad mix? I know aquarium salt is bad? but would epsoms be the same? When i re put them back in the tank. I accidently put them in with epsom salts in it. with no apparent ill effects. These fish were in the tank before but were moved to clean up a snail problem. I just dont want the hassle of moving all my fish.. to give them an epsom salt bath... The fish which i think are constipated will not take pea's. And i heard brine shrimp laxative in sorts but i am out.

i know dad. I think piranahs get along with anythingan everything if you know what i mean. but you wont be feeding my babies to them.. -01- -01- -01-
