  5. Wow, Greg. You've really got the hang of this now! All you need is an external flash to get those "natural lighting" shots that Patrick and Gerry get.
  6. That's a beautiful fish  You last shot is really amazing. I imagine it's hard to get bored shooting fish when you have so many to choose from eh?
  7. :welcome: sounds like a great collection. I'd like to see pics of that 135!

    Hi

    :welcome: to AA!
  10. Thanks guys! I can't wait till the algae really fills in. I miss that old hair algae...
  11. I have heard it is not too difficult to get a permit for native fish for the thing you are trying. Contact your local fish and wildlife if you can, it would be worth it to be able to keep native species in a pond that size. Just about any native minnow or small fish species will eat mosquito larvae for you.
  12. I decided to add a bunch of gravel to better mimic the Livingstone Falls. Fish are still doing good and the tank is maturing faster than I thought it would, for which I am very happy. As you can see the algae is filling in nicely, I hope I can get some Java moss soon to augment the greenery somewhat. Enough babble, here's a pic: Let me know what you think! Taylor
  13. Good for you man, looks like a great fish

  16. I found a couple more I thought I should share: http://www.rifflefish.com/ This one is REALLY good, I wish we had water this clear outside of the mountains... http://www.michiganfreediving.com/
  17. Sweet video of some Brazilians doing "ice fishing" in the amazon basin. It would seem inappropriate for this forum, but have a look at the catfish they are catching, looks like Tigrinus to me :hey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr0hdY_94K8
