i dont have any charcoal in the filter and clown loaches acually do have scales theyre just very small i read about it in a book

the water is exacly 82 how did u know? lol but wouldnt salt hurt the rest of my fish i dont really want to add salt i think i'll try the wal-mart stuff then salt but should i add some charcoal to the filter?

what does charcoal do is it carbon?

my black mollie has about 5 white spots on it like small round dust balls on it i no for a fact this isnt good how do i treat this? and can it effect my clown loach or gouramis? my tank has been really f**ked up lately and my fish ''doctor'' is out of town and i dont no where to turn and chances are slim i'll be able to go to a fish store for help my mom could care less about my fish but thankfully my dad understands why i love this hobby so much

it would only be a cobalt about 3" a sunset around the same size and the golden is about 4'' to 5'' those 3 and some bottom feeders and frogs and a black molly and bleeding hearts but im starting to think its a bad idea maybe in the new tank i'll keep some angels and rams

i clean it about once a month i use the water from the tank to clean it and the other day i was told i should get a different filter and ive notived the one i have is just a peice of crap it does work but not great my dads taking me to get a new one tomorrow

i no whats wrong i left the nitrate test tube out a bit longer and it almost turned red but that happened before and the fish became "raggy" but this time it was just the swords yes they just turned white and i dont have a nitrite or ammonia testing kit im picking one up tomorow or this weekend i change the water once a week ( not all just half) and cleaned half the gravel the biggest fish is about 4 inches but most are olny 1.5 - 2 inches yes in the 33 gallon. what is itch?

my female sword slowly turned white then finnally died and now the same thing is happening to my male whats wrong with them i checked the nitrate level and its around 10ppm a bit higher than usual but all the other fish are fine as far as i can tell

ok thanks. the small angels i was talking about acually only grow about 4 to 5 inches theyre small and yellow you can get them at family pet super center in sherwood park

i wish i could do something like a fish room ive always loved aquatic creatures ever since i was very little and finally now i get a tank maye i'll look into this kinda stuff in the future

i ment that the fish thats hiding is healthy and its pure white with a black spot the way they both looked when i got them but now one of them is really bright blue and it has stripes on it now and i was just wondering why they look so different now

my micky mouse fish was white with the black micky head on it and now its bright blue with black stripes and its acully a bully fish and the other micky is always hiding and looks like its goin to die but its perfectly ok
