Hey Darcy .Was just wondering why just the egg crate in the bottom.Is it just protection from your rocks. Wonder if I could just put my sand over egg crate. Would stop them all from digging and would Protect the bottom from falling rocks.

Well bought another tank last night. This tank is coming with 2- 12''Pleco's in it. I really do not need theses guys. There is also to large up side down catfish. If anyone is in need of any of these big guys Drop me a line. I don't have any pictures because I will not be moving them home till Sat. :thumbs:

I have B N Pleco's in about 9 of my cichlid tanks with a PH as high as yours. 8.8, right out of the tap. It's also well water. Thet are all doing fine . never a problem :thumbs:
