  1. they may not fit but Petsmart has some kits with glass and hinged etc.
  2. Instead of filling the water through the intake hose the air came out that way on both filters. THis has never happened before. They look like they filled or should I empty and do it again?
  3. I would think that bottle size would be designed to hold the diffrent weights of CO2 at a fairly simular PSI. I suspect 700 PSI is more then what is required for any job and is regulated down to some other amount ot be used, but I know a few welders so would have to check with them to make sure.
  4. humm... well rearranging the rocks seems like the easiest option (I should have thought of that) and I never really liked the idea of having the pots in the tank. Ill try that first. then maybe the Geosystem. Thanks for the advice
  5. I want to put plants in with my cichlids but they up root them and the substrate I belies is too fine for plants to be successful. has any one planted in small pots before or in some type of bowl rock?
  6. i found if the spray bar is directed down at all really with fine substrates it gets blown around

  12. cheese as in cheesy comical, ridiculous, ludicrous, outlandish, silly, absurd, or preposterous. why are you so up in arms about what I said do you design them? oh sorry forgot the other fifteen ???????????? thanks for coming out.
  13. ooh god please dont use a cheese background picture black w/ paint or plastic get my vote.... just not ugly scenery that would be a shame for all the time an money you spent
  14. i could be wrong cause I cant see it that well but it looks like a fungle infection to me. is it kind of hear-like fuzz? if it is I'd say fungle. if not could be intesten poped out.
  15. they sure are nice pictures. I was wondering where you got your flash? thats not a bad price I have been looking for one that I didnt need to sell a body part to get/
  16. I think both are ok... as in both are wrong in the native language/world
  17. shouldn't be a worry... it happens to all tanks you can buy a surface skimmer if it really bothers you or slowly lower a clean cup of some sort into the water so it only takes in/fills with the top layer of water.
  18. those are some beauties
  19. but none of these are really the right size and i dont like craft time.... I suppose I can use the 6x10 and just fold it over.... And it would be better then what its like now
  20. The carbon is for these has ridiculous amounts of dust, and now that my hands are black. I will ask, can you get bags of the approximate size for these filters I can fill with a better carbon? I can't seem to find anything for renas... it took at least 30 hour to 1 carbon pack. :boxed:
  21. has anyone seen these guys as anything other then feeders in Calgary... id liked some in a cold water tank... why are they sold as feeders they are wonderfully coloured?
  22. shouldn't really matter where it came from as long as it is hydrotested... praxair only fills their tanks I believe, go to a welding supply shop. I forget the name of where I go its like $10 for a 10 lb tank its just off 51 ave and like 87th street.
