  1. Never had this problem before, and I hate it it's driving me nuts. Yes it is a new set up 90 gal cycle complete perm's are all OK, just this brown crap everywhere. So now what, I have cleaned the tank stirred the sand and vacuumed, still it comes back. I am assuming my lighting is the problem I am using T5 twins same as on my other 90's with no problem there. What can I do to get rid of this stuff. Thanks. Tom.

  5. I was also there yesterday and the fish in question was somewhere in the 12" to 14" size, could barely turn around in the tank in which it was housed. I took a crappy phone pic, will post when I get home, if it turns out o.k. It had lots of colour, the person I spoke to said that it was brought in as a trade, is apparently a very mean sucker, killing everything the owner had it in with. Tom.

  11. I always over filter I have a Eheim 2028 Pro II canister filter and ac 500 on my 90 gal. Of course the bio-load you have would affect you filtering choices. Tom.

    Yup I put my plastic N.L.S. food containers on top of my 500, worked great and not really that unsightly. Tom.

What percentage of water change do you recommend for the standard 33gal set up while the rock is curing. Thanks Tom.

  17. Does anyone know if Labidochromis caeruleus from Nkhata bay has made it into the hobby They resemble the Lions cove yellow, but are a white with a blue tinge to them. at least that is what they look like from the picture I saw. What a gorgeous fish. Tom
