  1. Looks to be a chinese algae eater! Gyrinocheilus aymonieri
  2. I had a Curipira too and sold it to a guy in Okotoks. If I was to keep something other then the Aimara it would have to be the Curipira. I liked my Black too and now I am just wondering myself why I sold it???I just remembered why...It bite up one of my stingray pups real bad after the mom gave birth. Stingray survived and the wounds healed except it was left with a club tail. Can't keep wolves in tanks that will be having stingray pups! Too tempting for them to chow down.
  3. Thanks. It came from a fellow hobbyist in Halifax. It originally came from "Below Water". No pun intended! LOL
  4. This guy will take off my arm one day, but for now he just attacks the magnet cleaner everytime I clean the glass. This small...6" TOO 15 INCHES!
  5. Maybe another day. Dragon fish has better prices anyway.
  6. According to the calendar on their site it's tomorrow, Feb 11.
  7. The one in Edmonton puts the one to shame in Calgary! I never see any good stock in Calgary. They basically carry the bread and butter fish and thats it! The nice unusual fish and preds are usually ones customers have traded in.
  8. Big Al's,Gold aquariums,Riverfront,Petland are all open Sundays. They are all within 10-15min of each other.
  9. Picture is deceiving! Actually not too bad as it's 16" x 16" x 80" = 55 gallons. I have seen worse tanks that people try to put fish into. More for the office dudes who don't want to take the time to assemble a tank themselves. Comes with everything you need except water, fish and maybe heater depending on what you are keeping.Definitely wouldn't pay $1600 for it. Not sure if it's acrylic or glass but I wouldn't pay over $300 for it and less then that if it was plastic.
