yes, fish can last quite an extended period of time without food. obviously it isn't good for them, but yes, maybe once every 2 days til the tank is completely cycled. hope edna is doing good.

Above is the Young male Dovii. Tears fish apart. Finally settled into the new tank. Plan to get a female with in the months. COLOURFUL!!!

Above is the Synspilum. She's been in my tanks for the past 2 or 3 months now. Not a trouble starter, just some what shy, and loves her terf. These are the Argentea's above this text. I got them about 2 or 3 months ago to and they've doubled in size since. Gonna be future monsters FO SHO. They love to eat and they eat anything. 2 WC silver dollars. Got these about 2 months ago. They get dark spots and dark fins. Very nice! Right now I have 2 of them, but I plan to get a few more for a little school. Just 2 isn't cool.

Above is my 10" Barred Midas aka Mr. Midasjeezy Recently developed MUCH KOK. He's getting pretty thick now. He is definetly my favorite fish. Above is my Dempsey. I've had her for about 2 and half years now. Recently took a pretty good beating so I had to put her in my growout, but now she's in the big tank with the full stock. Tail almost 100% and she's gaining mass again.

if you use filters from the 90 gallon on the 58 gallon you should be fine. brand new filters with old water will not do anything. you need bacteria in your media.

i don't find the xp3 to be that reasonable. same with the fluvel 405. i'd go with used anyday before i bought for that price brand new lol. i got my xp3 for 230. i bought an xp4 for 190 months later. both brand new.

my pleco pretty much eats anything on the walls. i never see any algae. gets a plecski's. if i were you, i'd get one that only grows to about 4-8". my common will probably get like a foot and a half lol. he's grown so fast so far.

that's a nice tank! 125 gallon - 5' x 28" x 1.5'? looks similar to my tank with a 100 times nicer stand lol.

i got my tops at aquagiant aswell. they were about $25/piece i think. mine are for a 18 x 60. they leave room for a hang on!
