I own about 6 rena's, xp1's,2,3 & 4's. I have never had any of them crack the canister. had them for 7-8 years now. never even had the seal go bad on them either.

hahaha I got you hooked  funny how you made fun of me for having a few tanks. just wait....you will have 3-4 tanks running in no time hehe. just take one of my 3 125's I have sitting in the basement that I haven't set up since I mooved.

I set this tank up right next to my 125gallon(FW) that has 3x 175watt metal halides. I slid the light over so 1 175w was sitting over it. then picked up a 24" 4x24w T5HO for it but to me it needed more light lol so I then put the T5HO on it and the 175w sitting just above the t5's. it looks good to me the t5 has one 10k, one 20k(or 14k??) and 2 actinics with 2 led moonlights.

How would you like this in your tank!

marine aquaria has one, very neat starfish. everywhere I read they are very hard to keep and should be left in the ocean -
here is my first try at saltwater, been running 2 1/2 months now and i've had no problems yet. love rics, especially this one this one too(I like all of them lol)

cleaning sand with your suction hose.
H22_TURBO replied to Tiric's topic in General Aquaria Discussion
I put a bucket on the other end of the hose in my sink, suck up as much sand as you want with the hose and it will just settle in the bottom of the bucket and the water just overflows into the sink, when done just dump the sand back into the tank. works good for me. -
they have been open for a year or so I think. Very nice store, all salt water.

I just picked one up at Marine Aquaria in Edmonton. They had 6 or 7 different sizes. not sure what i paid, I was just happy finding one in Edmonton lol. I also princess auto, home depot, totem, glass shops, etc they could not help me find one. We sell diamond drill bits at the Home Depot in Sherwood Park. I'm pretty sure all the stores carry them. They're in the hardware department. I went to 2 different home depo's, the biggest size they had was for like a 1/2 hole.

I have had lots of wood with it, it wont harm anything. You can scrap/brush it off or wait till it goes away in time. and nothing I've owned has tried to eat it.

I have a 33, no center brace, it bows, for 2 years now and still holds water today. I'm sure yours will be ok
