It is very wise of you to join the group before purchasing fish, you will learn a lot.... one of the first things is not to always trust the store rep... a second good lesson is you can usually find beautiful healthy fish right here on this forum, for a lot less then you would pay at the store... We have trumpet snails and I think our zebra got busy too, not sure I can not see the markings well on the young snails... we have ton's of them so if anyone has hungry loaches or just wants some snails let me know... I can usually meet in Fort Saskatchewan... Lana

I don't have a favorite, I prefer to buy my fish from AA, and all other required equipment etc, from Natures Corner, Aquarium Illusions, AquaGiant, PJ's...haha... been to them all and purchased from them all.... Lana

Are you talking about the colored suitcases on the left side of the screen when looking at new posts? If you scroll down on the posts page, you will see a legend of the suitcases. Each one represents the topic, and if it has, new replies (blue suitcase) Hot topic (red suitcase)... I am unsure of any other suitcases... Lana

Your tank and your fish look awesome, you did a great job setting it up! I am so glad you joined here, as the fish you obtained from the member (s) are a lot healthier and happier then what you could of purchased at any LFS! I know in a month or two I will have a lot of dolphins that will require a new home..hehehe... right now I am just enjoying watching them grow, it is so unbelievable how fast they grow at this stage... I just received your e-mail to, love the picture's... My son somehow obtained a girlfriend long distance so he spent the earlier part of the evening chatting with her... and before that was supper, then chores and work... my days are not long enough! Hi and welcome to the board, I don't have many inside furry creatures, just two toy poodles, and right now a blue point rag doll/manx cross, although he looks like a medium haired rag doll, as he has a full length tail, but he obtained the rag doll personality, he just flops when you pick him up even when he is asleep and you pick him up he doesn't even open his eyes...He is only 8 weeks old now. Then outside we have about 20 cats, and 26 horses and two large breed dogs... we live on 80 acre's. I have gotten into fish in June and well a person can say I jumped in with both feet and never looked back...haha... Again welcome! Lana

Hey do a 411.ca reverse look up on the two local numbers, obviously this will not work for the cell number, but then it will give you an idea of who she is. If she works outside the home, you may find out where she works... I use this a lot if I don't know someone or want to find out who the heck is calling me before I return their call... Lana

first of all im happy the guy survived! second of all...lmao i thought of batman for some reason when u said that; from the old show..."holy catfish batman" that would make my day to see that in the show LMAO, that is to funny, I used to say that all the time... now it is just HOLY CATFISH...or HOLY SNAP...either or .... Lana

G&E sells good quality products, that people can afford... for me I purchase equine (horse) products, same brand names found else where but a whole lot cheaper! My only complaint is I wish they were on the North side, had a larger parking lot and a larger store... For example, I can buy Strongid T there for I believe it was 99.99 or something like that, and at the UFA (when they sold it) was closer to the 169.00 mark, so same product, just a huge price difference, now only pharmacy's/vets can sell strongid T, so I can still pick it up there and not pay the vet's high fee... Boom I love the detail you are putting into this tank stand. I love to see wood grains, and oak is my favorite wood type because of all the grains left visible. I so can not wait to see your finished product.. Lana
