80 lb lab/pitbull? we have a 85 lb lab/chow and a puppy lab/pitbull.......I thought this puppy, as she is supposedly only 1/8 lab, and looks like a purebred pitbull would only be 50-60 lbs!!!! She's 9 weeks and weighs about the same as my 20 lb year old baby! Oh Nelly!!!

thanks....... looks like a genocide in the tank today. don't know what happened, we lost our little golden balloon ram, the platy's went crazy attacking my rams and ate the eggs, my poor rams were so stressed!! I got the platys out and into another tank quickly, but not fast enough. I don't know if there are any eggs left, will have to wait and see, but the rams are now wandering all around the tank....i am sad!!

we bought 2 zebras snails there 5 days ago, one never moved and we assume is dead, the other was fine 5 minutes after we put it in.......

what all can i feed my pleco?

Wow, really pretty!! So......If I want to put plants in my tank (REAL ones), I don't need CO2? Just good lights? I have a deep tank, 2 ft. Does that make much of a difference?

My hubby mentioned to me today it looked like 2 of my Blue Rams were 'gettin frisky' in the plant this evening. Guess what?!?!?!? We have eggs!! I have only had live bearers procreate........what do I do? They are in a 45 gallon with many, many other fish. It is 2 feet tall so I can't get a divider, says the guy at Big Al's....I want the babies! Rams and Loaches are my favorites, so this is really cool! What do I do? Or...what do I not do? Someone help me out, from beginning to end please!!

oh dear, reading all of this, I wonder if I have a problem waiting to happen.....i have a 6 month old 45 'tall' gallon tank and stand. when we set it up upstairs and after that noticed my floor is slanted a little. it is off a bit from the side to side. the whole stand is tilted a tiny bit..........is this a nightmare waiting to happen?? is that a really stupid question?? lol

ugh.....this totally explains why my shrimp keep disappearing!! I was wondering who was eating them, but I have 4 cats who love my tanks, and they probably have a little snack or two...or more!! I quit buying shrimp out of frustration, but......... ..now maybe I can reassess!!
