I am looking at buying a small UV steriliser for my tanks.. Anybody have any feedback/suggestions? Please let me know.

Tuesday night's meeting will be on Goodeids(and not my holiday pics). Our jar show will be novelty and as per usual, we will have our mini auction, raffle and door prize draw. Also you can enter the home competition or home tour too. Lots of prizes to be had!! Hope to see you there..

BN will live together peacefully and can be kept with some cichlids. I get a kick out of my mated kribs trying to drive away the plecs when they get too close to the kribs corner. BN really are armoured... You could add some cover like rocks or wood to your cichlid tank. As for algae growing on their lips, can't help you on that one...but something about a rolling stone gathers no moss, comes to mind...

Plants, possibly some big swordplants if I can bear to part with them.. and maybe some fish depending on how good I am at bagging them, including some mollies and blue Moscow guppies..

Maybe the fish wanted to get tattooed.. IMHO, this is not the place for this either. It's a whole can of worms that would never end and if a tattooed fish get someone into the hobby, that's a good thing. I heard this argument in the US about glofish..

Just worship me and get used to it...

Fyi.. Golds has black lined loaches for 3.50 each. These are similar to dwarf chain loaches(sidthimunki) and not seen that often. Fun fish to watch!!

Tanks folks, I will try Lee Valley. Have hit some Rona and Lowes but they don't have 6500k. Just to clarify these are the bulbs to replace 25 watt tubular bulbs and regular cfls don't work as they're only 10 watt.

The third one is a female as she's not a threat to your koi male. You can move the 2 kois.. Wouldn't I love 2 males looking after me....

Hi, Am looking for the cfls that fit in a tubular canopy. I usually get them from Walmart in the states but have run out and no trips planned to the US for awhile..
