  3. I managed to get my hands on some Flame moss a few weeks ago, and it's growing really well in my small 10 gallon...I put in some Flourish in it and just turn on the light everymorning...I wish I had the attention span to learn more about plants...but eh.........what was I saying?? LOL

    Hi There

:welcome: There certainly is a lot to learn, happy reading/chatting.
  5. That sucks, I keep reading BlackMumba's and fishclubgirl's posts about breeding these guys and they said something about them prefering 'dirtier' water...i'm trying it...well, letting the water be dirty that is.
  6. I think "Bottomdweller_fan" had some hatch back in FEB and said they take about 8-10 days...If you click search and type in Farlowella, you should be able to find the posting...I'm not computer savvy enough to know how to insert a link for you...lol
  7. SWEET...my first RIGHT answer. Here's another...
  8. hahaha...oh man, I totally didn't even see that previous post! Guess that answers my question eh?! I just have it in a 10 gallon tank...no CO2, but use flourish and have a light...hummm...I hope it lives 'cause I really really like it.
  9. Can anyone tell me what this is? I got it a few days ago...I really like it, but the "worker" who sold it to me didn't know what it was.
  10. :welcome: It's a great place here!
  11. Salvini's are fairly easy to come by...especially lately. I see them in many stores. Prices are around $10 each. At least that i've seen...they used to be my absolute favourite...until I met the Tanganyikans.
  12. I meant that I have a horde of guppies...they just don't stop! I tried spawning my CT's for the last week and a half, then they finally did it on Monday afternoon...300 eggs, and then by last night the last eggs were devoured! aaarrgghh. I have a few trios of peacocks, a few small community tank fish (some are relatively $$$)...that's all I can think of for now.

:welcome: How do you like the bowfront aquarium? I always thought about it, but never actually did it...yet. I have MTS but a small wallet...lol

  17. Thanks a bunch everyone...this is my project for this weekend. *Sigh*
  18. You would think in this day n'age that collecting and using rainwater would be a GOOD thing...and that it would be encouraged. The laws that disallow collecting/using rainwater might as well ban recycling. :P
  19. Thanks for the advice...I think I will take it and do it...I know I read it somewhere on AA about what kind of silicone to use but can't remember what it was...anyone?
  20. Just wondering what you all think... I bought this 30 Gallon Hexagon on the weekend, and just now noticed that the seal all look really old and that they may need to be redone...I wasn't really sure if they needed to be done, but they look kinda nasty at the moment. I took a close up...what do you think? Since it is a Hexagon, oh man, I may be in for a job.
  21. Wow, 600... that's too much, btw is your name Katherine? DeeMar Betta's? Catherine, go by Cate...I only imported Bettas about 5 yrs ago for a business that was required of my business degree. Never heard of DeeMar Bettas. Wierd with the name though...lol
