  1. My wife has to laugh at me beacuse I have a step tool to reach that back middle of my 150 and I find that the stand it too short. :boxed:
  2. Using the sponge filters will use less power. I use sponge filters in my grow out tanks/QT tanks I find that if stock levles are low and you change the water every two weeks or month depending on stocking and give the sponges a good rince in old tank water that they will be fine. I also use a sponge filter rated to 40 gallons in my 20 gallon tanks.
  3. I usaly go to big als, only because of the hours and I live out of town. But I perfer to shop at natures corner.

  12. The computer tank would be a good thing bettas, but at only .36 gallons I think it should be more like 1 gallon. I just like that it is heated you never see small tanks heated and yet people put bettas in them.

    Cracked tank

Any glass shop can cut a piece if you want to replace the pane yourself. Myself, I would take it in to a place like Aqarium Illusions that is in the business of building tanks. That way I'd be more sure of the repair being done right. You owe me $.02 It is not too hard to replace a pain of glass, I don't thnik that is worth the cost of Aquarium Illusions to fix the tank for you. Check out the DIY section here and aquarticles.com yoy will find some good info on fixing tanks.

    Drilling a tank

There is always a danger of cracking the tank when drilling it. Just check the bottom to see if there is a sticker that says "don't drill" that usually means that it is tempered glass.
