Couldn't Find A Suitable Section For This Question...
Realevil1 replied to Senroc's topic in Ponds (indoor-outdoor)
I would talk to river front, pisces, or look on kijiji/forums. As for care info, Google is your friend, but remember care is different for every amphibian. -
It happens.. I have learned not to take it personally anymore. Try your hardest and give them proper care that's what matters. Can't prevent accidents sometimes, that's just how it goes

Sorry to hear about you bad luck bud. I just had my first ever case of ich come up on Sunday, poor fish are really itchy, but i did a salt dip on a few and it seemed to give my female Acara relief for the rest of the evening afterwords.

I am about to start building a similar 90gal SA/CA tank that my Acara's will be going in

looks awesome, I really like the rock work. Is that resting against the glass or no?

old post bump what is the rough cost to build a stand like this?
-
Archocentrus multispinosus are really neat, they change shade (darker to light or visa versa) depending on there mood.
-
I am going to transfer the four of them to a bigger tank soon, but have to find a stand. Or another tank and stand to trade for mine

So havn't picked up my 90 gallon yet, and unfortunately one of my angels passed due to a filter-inlet related injury.. but on the plus side I managed to acquire 2 adult pairs of cichlid. A pair of Archocentrus multispinosus (Rainbow Cichlids) and also a pair of Aequidens pulcher (Blue Acara Cichlids). http://albertaaquatica.com/index.php?showtopic=41808%C2'>

Thought I'd share some pictures of my new pairs. Pair of Archocentrus multispinosus (Rainbow Cichlids) From Venezuela and Costa Rica and other coastal locations. And a pair of Aequidens pulcher (Blue Acara Cichlids) From Nicaragua and coastal Central America. I really love the way these fish interact! Thank you to those who helped me acquire these

There is a good chance I will be upgrading to a 90 this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.

Ya, I've seen the live ones at the supermarkets, but I doubt they would sell them live.
