HAS ANYONE ATTEMPTED TO USE A PAIR OF MOUTHBROODERS TO CREATE A SUCCESFUL MULTIPUNCTIS SPAWN?. WHAT TYPE OF BROODER WAS USED? i HAVE A GROUP OF EIGHT MULTI'S WITH ATLEAST 4 GRAVID FEMALES. I"VE ATTEMPTED A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT IDEAS INORDER FOR THEM TO SPAWN BUT NOTING HAS WORKED. i'VE BEEN READING ABOUT A TECHNIQUE IN WHICH THE SYNO'S SPAWN WITH THE BROODERS, DROPPING THE EGGS IN THE SPAWN LOCATION AND THEN HAVE THE BROODERS AS CARE GIVERS TO THE PUPS. WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD SUCCESS? i AM ESPECIALLY CURIOUS ON WHAT TYPE OF BROODERS i SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR.?

I just bought 4 peacock bass last week..there about 1 1/2 in long and eatin mysis shrimp..........but they are very scared. always hiding unless presented with food. does anyone have some experience with these..........?...should I be expecting them to be skidish till they are much larger and older? does any one have experience with peacockbass and redtails cats together? the bass are way too small to be introduced with the redtail but eventually I want them to mix. thanks

I' was told its a blue eyed bruno when I bought it 3 years ago......no blue eyes and never seen one again........its always hiding and I had to put it in isolation tank, just to get some pictures

notice his right antenna is sticking straight in the air... I wont come back down and doenst move , just goes straight up any ideas anybody?

thanks for the suggestions...I've added the seafood mix to his diet and he loves it........I have also been adding convicts to the tank,...they make great feeders........

my synspilum has passed away,she died a couple days ago and I am extrememly disapointed.. her mate has no signs of ick ,is eating well and seems to be in good health. I want to give the male away to a good home with other females but should i wait and see if he will develop anything? anyone want a 10-11inch male synspilum? for free

I recently added a synsplium adolesant a month or so ago. He doesnt have any of the white stuff on him.

she's 4years old and has no previous history of problems. BUt she is covered in "ich",I THINK,,, looks like grains of salt or sugar all over.. I have turned up the temperature of the tank and added some extra salt with her last water change....what else should I do?....If it is ich, Is this caused through stress? ...thank you all for your time
