  1. I really think you can do just as well locally, its amazing how helpful the people on this forum are! Just ask if anyone has any for sale...... you might be suprised ! Then no worries about live delivery.......
  2. How do you tell a male from a female? I bought four, was told one was male, three were female............ think I have three males...........Are blue ones sexed the same way???????? :well:

  5. I find driftwood has to soak for quite a while to sink, you can attach it to a piece of slate if you are in a rush. It works quite well. Good luck with the sweet talking to it and even idle threats, lol, seems to never work but makes you feel better.

  9. He still looks the same. It took an hour to catch him, tore a tank apart to get him. He is swimming around healthy, except the bump. Pics are fuzzy or I would post one....... Treating him for parasites, guess we will wait and see................

  14. When we bought some of our breeding cichlids, they had a little pleco with them. He has a growth on the side of him, sort of a peach color. They guy offered to flush him, but we took him home. :cry: He seems healthy and active, he just has a growth. Any idea waht it is?????? Can he live like this?? I mean without suffering? Feel bad for thre little fella. :cry:
  15. :welcome: So what to put in it? I have the same question with my new 230 gallon.................. but I love cichlids , so I am leaning towards more. (I think it's addicting) So what do you like as far as fish goes? Community tank maybe.......... Depends I guess on your preference in fish. But please keep us posted, always love to see new tank setups!!!!!!!! This site is great, so enjoy, and good luck witht the new tank.

I'm jealous of your saltwater :drool: tanks, I am still too unsure to go salt water, even though I just got a 230 gallon tank, I am still going to wait untill I learn more about salt. Lots of information and help here, so enjoy! :smokey:
