To me, i would be freaked of putting that kind of weight on it- look at my DIY stand and you will see how paraniod i am and how i built me stand to support a house ontop of it. That being said, i am no where near qualified as you are. I would love to see some rough plans and many structual pics just to illustrate that a stand doesnt need 4x4 bracing every few feet. I could use to learn something to keep the costs down on my next project. I say, looks awesome and more pics, more pics, more pics. Neil

I moved some rock around and have given things a chance to grow. this is my tank at 1 month old. Im already thinking about trimming up some growth, i dont have room for anything else.

well- it took me about 6 months to put together, mixed amongst other projects, but i finally got my salty tank up and running. Time to put in some OT at work to support the habit.

this sounds like one good baby-sitting adventure- i cant wait to see it.

i have this posted on canreef, but what the hell- here it is again. I have an all glass 36x18x24 with the plastic center brace. i would like to remove it due to the fact i have an aqualight pro with the single center MH. I have read about people replacing them with center glass strips, but i would see that getting dirty and preventing light eventually as well. Would you be able to use 2 smaller glass braces at 1/3 and 2/3 intervals across the tank?
