Qattarra
I wanted to give everyone an update. I'm fairly certain now that she's a green texas cichlid and that she's conquering her floating tail. I got up this morning and when I went to feed her my heart flipped with joy. I'd say she's 80% recovered , she's horizontal most of the time now. She used to have to make concentric circles to climb to the surface to get her food. Now she just pops up and grabs it. She is very affectionate, comes to the glass and I run my fingers against it as to pet her. She's so pretty and I love how she responds to me. she's a doll and I'm lucky to have her. I just don't know how long I could keep her if she grows much. Sue

Vapor
That's great Sue. As far as keeping her you are just going to have to buy another tank.
