Qattarra
I've been told once that I could use these water conditioner salts for hatching brine shrimp. I haven't tried it yet, not sure how to measure the salinity. Could these same salt chunks be used in the aquarium (FW)? Could I just toss in a few cubes? Sam Chicklets
If it is water softener salt it will be fine as it is not iodized. I used to use some in my molly tanks with out problems. Just make sure it is non iodized. The stuff for water softeners used to come from the Windsor salt mine in N/E Alberta. jvision
NaCl is Sodium Chloride is NaCl... it's all the same, just different names. When you go to the LFS, you have to pay for the "Aquarium Salt" brand name :P
