murmade
Kinda looks like a flowerhorn. Sue I was really hoping someone wasn't going to say that! When I picked it up my Guess was a really abused Synspilum, but judging by the attitude....you may be right Sue! By the way how did you make out with that Texas adoption? When I picked it up my Guess was a really abused Synspilum, but judging by the attitude....you may be right Sue! By the way how did you make out with that Texas adoption? After 3 months she showed no more improvement Constantly fighting to get her ballance she was starting to weaken so I chose to euthenize her. She had a much better life, clean water, good food and friends. I just didn't feel she should have to continue the struggle. I was very sad about it, I really wanted to see her recover fully. I guess after 3 years of abuse I shouldn't have expected that much. She would still be alive and otherwise healthy but what kind of life would it be to struggle 24 hours a day to right yourself. Sue

Toirtis
Kinda looks like a flowerhorn. Sue Now that it is mentioned, I suppose it could be, yes...certainly fits the bill along the line of 'synspilum/red devil hybrid' thing...it never occurred to me at the time. Nandopsis
It is definatly a Amphilophus of some sort. Midas/RD would be my best guess.

Kevin
It is definatly a Amphilophus of some sort. Midas/RD would be my best guess. But the striping and the coloration would lead me to say part synspilum as well. I would agree that this a hybrid. Nandopsis nailed the shape though, definitely an amphilophus shape (but no stress bars at all). Kevin
