The male has pointed anal and dorsal fins, and the upper edge of its dorsal fin is dark red.

If this is correct, I change my opinion to ...male...as the fish in the pic has the red seam.

I still think its a female...more spangling on the gill plates. I dont think the red seam is a positive indicator but I may be wrong.

The reason I am asking is because I want to breed my EBJD with a regular female to get Blue Gene JD.

Dunl...can you get more pics? PLEASE!

Just came home from working 14 hrs, two concerts, and an instrument rental night for my Grade 5 Band students.

I'll see what I can do, but right now, I'm taking my wife out for some ice cream. ;)
