turtlechick
OKay, so I've done everything everyone's said to do with the filtering and such.......now two weeks later, the water is orange again? should I just give up and let the water be orange? I'm so frustrated. Could it have anything to do with the rocks I put in there? I got some rocks from beside the river and cleaned them really well, so I can't see that having anything to do with it....please help me!!!! FishBrain
ORANGE?? What have you got in your tank and filter?
turtlechick
The Fluval 404 and a Whisper 40 and that's it. No substrate albeit a few river rocks? Miss turtle is doing fine, but I worry too much. I'm sure it's not normal :-(~
Vallisneria
Could it be rust from the rocks?
Sam Chicklets
If you picked up sedimentary rocks from the river they may have a lot of iron in them staining the water. I would sugest replacing them with different rocks and see what happens. Edited May 8, 2007 by Sam Chicklets

Tanker
I'll be back in Hinton tomorrow... maybe I should pop by and take a look... sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can find a missing link. By chance... no kids in the house who drink Kool-Aid and thought the turtle might be thirsty? :P
