HarleyBeautiful
I picked up a yellow boxfish and a coral banded shrimp today. I also picked up some crabs and snails. the boxfish is being rather active and looks good in the tank . The shrimp is a nice addition and is hanging out upside down on one of my rocks. pictures coming soon.

albert_dao
Watch it, those two make for a BAD combo. The shrimp being relatively snappy and the boxfish being quite slow with a nasty tendency to nuke your tank when stressed. Scenario, shrimp grabs boxfish at night, you come in the morning to find mostly everything dead.
freshmike
So morbid!
HarleyBeautiful
i'm not to worried. My boxfish is actually quite a quick swimmer and much bigger than the shrimp. It's wierd too, with my fish keeping expierences usually the things that work with my tanks are the oppisite of what is not supposed to work. So we'll see...................... HarleyBeautiful
Ya brutal............ 45 gallon. one brichardi breeding pair ( fluke) and one julie breeding pair (another fluke) and some calvus, compressicips and other tangs. When I moved I think i didn't bring enough of the old water and lost them all. Was close to tears!! the life of a fish hobbyist!
Oxquo
Yeah I remember doing a cold snow water change, having a nap and then waking up remembering that I was going to do a cold water change, I got away with that one though by adding a pail of the hottest tap water I could find. I was actually petting my geophagus and they were just laying on their sides. Truly drinking and fishkeeping don't mixing.
