happeboy
My Indian Flasher barbs (Puntius denisonii) are a little to fast for their own good apparently. One got spooked today, and hit the glass and died... I've never seen that before, and hope I don't ever again. Has anyone else had this happen? Guppygirl
It's sad but I had a zebra danio do the same thing. Got spooked and before you blinked it had smucked the glass and I am pretty sure mine broke its back, had to humanily destroy it. Not fun. I think that the glass reflected the ornaments and it thought it was heading to safety but in fact was on a collision course. Much like a bird with a plate glass window. I added extra plants along the tank walls on three sides so that it would hit the plants before the glass. Seemed to work. Good luck with your other barbs. Sam Chicklets
The only fish I've heard of doing this is large Id sharks.
Stacey
Sorry for your loss. My oscar has bonked himself dizzy jumping for food left on the glass lid for a moment. I'm carefull what I park on top of his tank now.
Vallisneria
I had a peacock cichlid slam himself into the glass top and die.
