Nandopsis Posted August 8, 2007 Report Share Posted August 8, 2007 A buddy of mine has the large model (the 1500 i think), and he likes it alot. I haven't heard much about them, but i looked at the way they were designed and was impressed. I have a small Cascade HOB and it has been working very well for me in my Nano tank. I have cleaned it out many times to dump out the sugar sand inside, and It's still completely silent. So that is my experience with Cascade. *I'am more than happy with it.* Hope that helps. I"ve been considering getting a canister and during my research I saw that these guys much cheaper then say Eheim or even the renas. They also give you more gph/$ then the other filters. I'd love a Eheim but they are out of my price range. Next I was looking at the Xp3 when I came across the cascade. So right now I'm torn between the Xp3, which I know have tons of good reviews but cost more, or the cascade which I know nothing about, excpt that its cheaper Prehaps I'll check out the cascade the next time I'm LFS shopping, which is hopefully soon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
