Vallisneria
Well i might be getting rid of my ram from my 15g. That would leave it free(other fish are moving tanks as well). So i'm thinking of all the different things i could possibly do with it. I know there are alots of cichlids i could keep in a 15g but are there any that will breed in our tap water(ph 7.8?). So is anyone breeding anything in smaller tanks? I would really like to try breeding something besides rift lake africans but i dont' want to mess with my water. Any ideas? AndyL
Bah, all that writing and i failed to notice you mentioned cichlid... Apisto agasizzi and cacatuoides will breed in tapwater... Blue and bolivian rams will also. For a real challenge - and a cichlid like personality (But they aren't) scarlet badis badis (And if you find some - let me know I've been trying to get my hands on them for about 2 years). Vallisneria
Thanks it doesn't have to be a cichlid. But i've found I like cichlids more then the other fish i have kept. As for the badis badis, I remember Big al's here in edmonton had some a while back. Seems like they are a bit too shy for what i'm looking for. Hemi
You could try some of the smaller centrals ie: Convicts Sajica Spinossimum Firemouth
