werner
Is that a picture of one of your tanks Werner? I'm sorry to say that it's not. It's another of the entries from the 2007 AGA aquascaping contest- I forgot to include the link when I posted it (apologies to Piotr Suty!). Other pics and a plant list can be seen here. I think the groundcover is Hemianthus callitrichoides. Nothing I have is anywhere as neatly kept as that little tank. I'm glad you think so highly of my aquascaping abilities, though. Kayen
If i recall werner you like your dutch style of aquascaping. I like iwagumi's but never really had any foreground plants aside from moss before, now i'm experimenting with the hc i got from werner, most of it died off, and since last week when i started adding excel, and another 9 watts over the tank the HC is growing like crazy. But usually what do people slope their substrate with? When i do it with my hands it looks horrible.
rocker85675
that bonsai tree is the coolest thing ever! does anyone know how to do the waterfall?
Boom
I'd also like to know how to that "waterfall". And where to get a banzai tree?
bottomdweller_fan
The waterfall is actually achieved by using sand. Here is a link to a site that describes how to create one http://www.aquatic-eden.com/2007/10/creati...underwater.html
Slough Shark
The bonsai tree effect is done with careful plant maintenance. The moss is cut neatly at the top of the driftwood and kept off of the "trunk" section.
BettaVishVish
That's amazing set up. I wish I can see this type of aquarium in person
