firestorm
I have just recently seen those guys in a couple of fish stores, but we looked them up and found they lose alot of their color when they get older. But they are gorgeous little guys. Pretty expensive too. Is the care similar to that of a Jack Dempsey?
Parachromis1
i ahve yet to see one survive long term besides fat puffers. they rarely live past 6 inches. good luck though.

luvmyfish
Congrats on your new baby, he is a beauty!! Don't expect him to grow fast .. we have had both of ours for over 6 months now and they are still tiny and in my tetra tank with my corycats :smokey: We have a laugh every time that we tell someone our dempseys and tetras are in the same tank doing well. Edited April 21, 2008 by luvmyfish
firestorm
So are these guys naturally found in the wild like that? Or do they cross breed to get them those colors? I was always wondering.
