hybrid
I made this filter for my indoor pond(which is still under construction)).. I am cycling the filter on top of a half filled 66gallon.. each chamber has its own specific usage..carbon, bio max, filter fiber, etc... I created roughly 50 tiny drain holes on the top 4 drawers.. The filters will be located in a seperate room(laundry)..so, the pond can look presentable It was built to run my 1300gallon/hour pump, but currently has a 400gal/hour pump cycling it Its been running for aboot 3 week.. Tanker
How many dish scrubbers do you have in that thing? Dollar stores are sold out, nationwide after that one! hybrid
How many dish scrubbers do you have in that thing? Dollar stores are sold out, nationwide after that one!Ok, now seriously... can you post specifically what you used for media and materials? Thanks! yes.. I bought out all the dollarramas on the south side... .twice... TOP LEVEL#1...filter FOAM AND POLY FLOSS #2.. BIOBALLS (2LBS) #3 ..PLASTIC SCRUBBIES #4..50 BUCKS WORTH OF BIOMAX..and a couple handfulls of ceramic rings BOTTOM#5 ..MORE SCRUBBIES -I FOUND IT difficult TO DETERMINE THE RIGHT SIZE AND AMOUNT OF HOLES NEEDED FOR THE FLOW TO BE APPROPRIATE FOR BOTH SIZES OF PUMPS.. If there are to many holes, It wont drip evenly.. If theres not enough holes, the compartments fill up... went through many test trials, to get the perfect flow..
