Baos
I've used my fair share of air pumps, I have about 5 that died or work some of the time. I'm almost to the point that I will buy a cheap air compresser, stick an air filter on it, and turn down the pressure for the fish tank. Whats a good brand or model that won't quit and will continue working on both sides of a dual air system. I'm looking to supply two 36 inch air walls and possibly a side accessory. Approximately 2-3 feet deep. Edited June 17, 2008 by Baos

bosshog
If you go with a compressor make sure it is an oilless one. No oil in the compressor crank case. They are more expensive than the ones with air but won't let oil get into your airlines and eventually your tank.
rocker85675
i use a pondmaster 100 style (the pump) you can run 1 to 100 air stones and and bleed off the excess. gives you a lot of flexability
firestorm
Most of my air pumps are Elite, I have one that is probably a good 20 years old (has not been used the entire time) but it is still working for me. You can get many different sizes of them, depending on the amount of lines you are using. The large ones should work well for more than 1 or 2 lines.
