Baos
just an idea for diy.. but.. water pumps.. hoses... metal clamps with possible cooling fans, and cycling inside one of those $100 fridges from walmart with parts of the insulator cut out for the hoses to run through with a closed door. randy
To keep my tank cool I mounted two computer cpu fans in the canopy run them with a 9v power adapter, took a cheep Styrofoam cooler cut a hole in the top so my canister filter will fit in it filled the cooler with freezer packs, extras in the freezer and changed them out as needed. Seem to work.
rocker85675
Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear that Hopefully there wont' be anymore losses. I just lost about 700 dollars of salt water fish and corals when the temperature in my salt system hit over 92 F. I live on the third floor and I do have fans, AC, and floating bags of ice. I tore down the system and will not do salt again until I move. exact same reason im back to freshwater(faulty heater), i'll try it again someday
