sneekerp
I've heard that by raising or lowering the temp of your tank you can manipulate the sex of your fry. Is this really the case? If so how does it work? Higher temp more males or more females? Thanks
Sam Chicklets
Yes it is with certain types of cichlids, appistogramma especially.
jvision
I read that temp can determine the sex ratio in livebearers and anabantids (bettas, gouramis, etc.). When I was breeding Apistos and rams, I found that pH was just as much a determining factor as temp.
