neely Posted February 28, 2005 Report Share Posted February 28, 2005 well, my female red empress ended up spitting out all her fry (14) during the capture and relocation effort today. So far all the fry look good and healthy. I was wondering if there is any good way to net a holding female and transfer her without stressing her out to the point of spitting. So if you dont' want them spitting in the net, catch them with the net but don't remove them from the water. Then transfer her into a container(tupperware) and then take her out.
