Do your water changes the day before to minimize ammonia build up . Don't feed the fish the day before or the day of , less wastes less ammonia. If your tanks are overcrowded perhaps use some bins to spread out the fish so each has more water to work with. If you think it may get too cold perhaps store very hot treated water in something insulated like a big coleman cooler. You can baggie this water during the day to float it in the tanks to add heat. Will you be home? If so keep an eye on the fish if they start gasping and breathing near the surface you can manually agitate the water to aerate it. For the day all might be just fine just by not feeding them .

Buy some Battery air pumps. Make sure your filter media goes into the tank, next to or on top of the output of the air pump. Or depending on what kind of filter media you have, make a DIY sponge filter out of it by sticking a tube(AC filter intake tube) into it and puting the airpump hose into that(works great with AC sponges). The filter media needs to stay oxygenated, just throwing it into the tank wont' provide enough flow to keep the bacteria alive.

If it's construction not involveing your property then i'd let them know and see if they can provide a generator. Usually construction companies have some allready that you can use for free. Check and see.

Good luck
