Have had a professional series now for about 10 years, Got tired of the filter floss just use the ehiem sponges only clean out canister about 3 times a year. KTK Posted May 18, 2009 Report Share Posted May 18, 2009 For the Filter floss it all depends on what you have in your tank. If theres a lot of plant matter, you have realy messy fish or you feed too much you are going to have to clean it a lot more often. I dont mess with mine much at all.
