turtlechick
My new silver aro would rather eat worms off the bottom of the tank than catch them when I drop them?? IS this normal? He waits until the worm is on the bottom, circles it, and snaps at it. Also, would a clown knife be a good tank mate for my guys?

He is still new. I think once he gets more comfortable, he will snap the food so fast of the surface of the water you wont even see it -roll-

Ishkabod
Sounds like nothing to worry about but i'm not one to ask about that species but like with any fish variety is healthy so keep up the worms and mix it up with some other things that they can eat. I don't know for sure but maybe if you used something as a staple and the worms as a treat then it might just get gobbled allot faster. My koi gets leftover watermelon rinds and i buy him an orange every so often and my cichlids were just treated to a slice of cantalope last month and they devoured it along with the pleccos and petricola's and left nothing but the rough skin. Good luck L
